John (Ji-heuk) Kim is a South Korean-born American filmmaker and video artist based in New York City. His work centers on narratives of Koreans in the U.S. As a writer/director, he has received the Indian Paintbrush Production Grant, and as a co-writer, he has participated in the Berlinale Talents Tokyo Screenwriting Lab and advanced to the second round of the Sundance Development Track. He is currently developing his first feature, The Loneliest Shade of Green. Additionally, he serves as the Digital Marketing & Media Fellow at MoMA PS1.
